In the morning schoolchildren were on the excursion to the federal territory “Sirius”. Our guests from Iran visited Sirius University and the dendrological park "Southern Cultures".

After lunch pupils could attend popular science lectures in English by Kupavskii Andrey, Doctor (PhD) of Physico-Mathematical Science, and Kirichenko Valentina, Doctor (PhD) of Physico-Mathematical Science. Those lectures were about the Schubert calculus, which is a branch of algebraic geometry, and the Turán's brick factory problem, which asks for the minimum number of crossings in a drawing of a complete bipartite graph.
